Dominik Kudła PhD –   a lecturer at the Institute of Specialised and Intercultural Communication at the Faculty of Applied Linguistics, University of Warsaw. He graduated in applied linguistics (speciality: translation in languages for special purposes and teaching foreign languages; with English and Russian) at this Institute. He defended his MA thesis entitled Anglicisms in Selected Types of Texts Related to Football in Polish and Russian. In 2015 he received a DAAD German language course scholarship at Universität Leipzig. In July 2020 he defended (with honours) his PhD thesis entitled Assessment of the Perception of Computer Games Linguistic Localization Based on Eye-tracking Data. His current research interests include eye tracking methodology, translation studies, video games localisation, translator training and contact linguistics.
